The Planet’s Most beneficial Five Equine Grooming Recommendations

Horses are magnificent animals known for their strength, speed, and beauty. Much of this comes natural to horses. The simple act of running around gives them a fantastic reserve of speed and strength. This being said, a horse can grow even stronger through rigorous training. They can also do speed exercises to make their horses faster.

While most people do not need to make their horses faster or stronger, they may want to make them more beautiful. I wrote this article to tell you exactly how you can make your horse prettier. I’ll go through my top five horse grooming tips to making your equine as beautiful as possible. By the time you are done reading this article, you’ll know enough to go out and get started on your horse right away.

The first thing one must do is to buy the proper horse grooming supplies. This way you’ll be able to get everything done at once and it will be less likely that you will forget things. A body brush, curry comb, mane and tail comb, and a hoof pick, should all be in your horse grooming kit.

Next, you’ll want to start cleaning your horse from top to bottom. It seems that people that are new to cleaning horses tend to begin cleaning from the bottom. Once they are finished with the bottom, they head to the top and send all of the dirt from the top back down to the bottom. Avoid this by washing the top of the horse before you wash the bottom.

After this, you want to make sure you always wipe off any dirt and mud out of the hoof before you begin to pick it. Attempting to pick the hoof out before you wash it will just make everything much harder. You’ll end up having to pick it again once you’ve washed everything out.

Conditioning spray should be applied once you have finished cleaning your horse up. A wonderfully clean and well groomed horse still needs to have healthy hair in order to look good.
Lastly, make sure you always dry your horse off and keep them in a clean area until they are completely dry. A wet horse will attract lots of dirt very quickly if left out in an open field. You’ll feel so sad seeing all of your hard work being messed up right away.
